I told you so!

It takes at least 4 midnight phone calls with the English Customer Service team of Vodafone Espana to get your phone working properly. At least for now.

They are pretty impressed with the fact I start reciting my name, phone number and passport number before even being asked for, I myself am impressed with the fact no one can help me for more than 24 hours.

I am already used to the rules of Spain: manana, tranquillo, espere. But sometimes you really want to send this text now - saying I love you to someone you know needs it desperately, saying Good night to someone who does not expect it and will like the surprise or just saying Hi. And the text fails and fails and fails, your touch screen suddenly stops working and Victor does not understand the sarcasm in your voice.

This is when that tiny bit of you which doubted your decision of moving to the end of the world grins at you and says I told you so.
